Many members of the Haston FAMILY have served in the various branches of our country’s military.  For example, there are official records that members served on both sides during the Civil War.  Documents found show that one great-grandson of Daniel Haston was a recipient of the Medal of Honor, and numerous others have been awarded with high military honors.  Hastons have served at Camps, Posts, and Stations around the globe.  We would like to start gathering information on anyone with a connection to the Haston family and record his or her military service.  Copies of service records (DD-214, NGB Form 22) are always helpful.
