  1. I was lucky to have personally known David Haston.He and I worked together to clear the brush and plants from Big Fork Cemetery (1970) . Many graves were sunken in and we back filled them. I meet Estelle at their Sparta home. After I was assigned to Naples Italy in 1973 we communicated by mail . Some where in my notes and photos I have a copy of Dave at the David Haston grave This grave was sinking in with the stone cover broken and a groundhog den under the remains of the broken grave stones as it is today. For 50 years the site was in the forest.

I know that you, David Rhea Haston, and numerous others spent a lot of time and efforts on restoring and maintaining the cemetery. I feel honored to have a small part on the tail-end of seeing those dreams come to fruition.
